Supporting Our Communities

Today's business is about more than just commerce. It requires that we operate in unison with our associates, communities, and governments to foster greater economic development and sustainability. At its core is the connection of people and communities. Throughout our company's history, we've found that we grow by investing not only in our business, but also in the communities we serve.

Giving Back

In 2005, we launched a national affiliation with Feeding America to assist in the fight against hunger with a commitment of a five-year, $500,000 pledge. In each of the communities where Performance Foodservice is located, we have partnered with the Feeding America food bank to provide funds, food, and volunteers. In its first year alone, we contributed more than 600,000 pounds of food to these local food banks.
