Cheese Stuffed Rigatoni with Blush Sauce Florentine
  • Cheese Stuffed Rigatoni

    INGREDIENTS

    • 8 oz Roma Cheese Stuffed Rigatoni (cooked as directed)
    • 1 tbl Piancone olive oil
    • 1 tsp garlic clove(s) (chopped)
    • 1/4 cup wine, white
    • 1 1/2 cup spinach, fresh baby
    • 1 to taste Raffinato cheese, grated parmesana

    INSTRUCTIONS

    In a sauté pan add oil and garlic over low heat (don’t brown). Add white wine and simmer for 1 minute. Add 1 1/4 cup Blush Sauce and bring to simmer. Mix in spinach, until wilted. Add Rigatoni and serve when heated through. Top with grated cheese.

  • Blush Sauce

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1 cup Roma marinara sauce
    • 2 oz Nature's Best Dairy heavy Cream

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Combine heavy cream and marinara sauce into medium size bowl. Stir together well until evenly mix mixed. Sauce should be a light pink color.

    Additional Notes: Yields 1 1/4 cups.
