New Orleans BBQ Shrimp

New Orleans BBQ Shrimp
  • BBQ Shrimp Seasoning

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1-1/2 cup Burst™ paprika 
    • 1/4 cup Burst™ Onion Powder
    • 1/4 cup McCormick Culinary Garlic Powder 
    • 3 tbl Burst™ Black Pepper, ground
    • 3 tbl lemon pepper
    • 1/4 cup parsley, flakes
    • 1/4 cup rosemary, dried (leaves)
    • 2 tbl thyme leaves (dried)
    • 1/4 cup Burst™ Oregano Leaves, Whole (dried)
    • 1 tsp Roma cayenne pepper
    • 2 tsp salt, Kosher

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Mix all the ingredients together and store in an air-tight container.

  • BBQ Shrimp

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1 lb Empire's Treasure Jumbo Shrimp (head and tail on)
    • 1 bottle Guinness Drought
    • 3 tbl West Creek butter, unsalted
    • 1/4 cup Roma Olive Oil
    • 4 slices Heritage Ovens French Bread (toasted)

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Heat oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and 1/4 BBQ Shrimp Seasoning (recipe follows), cook for 1 minute, turning shrimp once. Add beer and allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes. Whisk in butter and serve in a bowl garnished with toasted French bread.
