Burgers Go Beyond Beef

On the surface, there’s nothing more American than a burger. But America has never really been a homogenous nation. Diversity has always been there, sometimes just beneath the surface. And, if you lift the top of a burger these days, you might not find beef inside.

The reasons can vary. Cultural or religious. Diets driven for health or environment. Or maybe just because they want something a little different today. Regardless of the reason, there’s a myriad of choices out there to create alternatives to the old beef patty.

In the U.S., burgers are everywhere to be found. Nearly every menu sports at least one. But, just like us, when you look closer, it’s not always going to be the same patty inside. And while we still love a Braveheart Black Angus Beef burger, more choices is never a bad thing.
