Six Chicken Wing Recipes To Spice Up Your Menu

Whether you're getting ready for football or just looking to spice up your menu, we have six fresh wing recipes for you to try on the menu. When making wings, we suggest starting with West Creek Jumbo Wings. Big, plump and juicy every time, these fresh wings always satisfy customers.

Island Spice Wings (Jerk Wings)
Ingredients:
12 jumbo cut wings
2 oz. clarified butter, butter grill oil or vegetable oil
1 ½ Tbsp. water
1 ½ Tbsp. jerk spice blend

Place wings in a 340-350 degree fryer and deep fry until well browned and crispy with a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine water with jerk spice, mix with a wire whisk until well blended. Add butter/oil and again mix until well blended. Remove wings from fryer, add to jerk coating immediately and toss to coat well. Serve hot.

*For additional heat, add cayenne pepper to the jerk spice in quantity desired  

Sweet Thai Chili Wings
Ingredients:
12 jumbo cut wings
½ oz. clarified butter, butter grill oil or vegetable oil
1 ½ oz Roland Sweet Thai Chili Sauce
1 Tbsp. chopped green onions

Place wings in a 340-350 degree fryer and deep fry until well browned and crispy with a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine butter/oil, Thai chili sauce and green onions and mix together well with a wire whisk. Remove wings from the fryer, add mixing bowl of sauce and toss well to coat evenly. Serve hot

*Adjust the heat by increasing the amount of Thai Chili sauce or adding Cayenne pepper to the mix


Southwestern Honey Chipotle Wings
Ingredients:
12 jumbo cut wings
1 oz. clarified butter, butter grill oil or vegetable oil
1 ½ oz. Sauer’s Honey Sauce 
1 tbsp. Minor’s Chipotle Base
1 tsp. fresh chopped cilantro
*Or you can use 2 oz. Minor’s Honey Pepper RTU Sauce  in place of Honey Sauce & Chipotle Base blended with butter/oil

Place wings in a 340-350 degree fryer and deep fry until well browned and crispy with a minimum internal temp. of 160 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine butter/oil, honey sauce, chipotle case and chopped cilantro and mix together well with a wire whisk. Remove wings from the fryer, add mixing bowl of sauce and toss well to coat evenly. Serve hot

*Adjust the heat by increasing the amount of Chipotle Base.


Mango Habanero Wings
Ingredients:
12 jumbo cut wings
1 oz. clarified butter, butter grill oil or vegetable oil
1 ½ oz. Knorr Mango Habanero RTU Sauce
1 tsp. fresh chopped parsley for color

Place wings in a 340-350 degree fryer and deep fry until well browned and crispy with a minimum internal temp. of 160 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine butter/oil, mango habanero sauce and chopped parsley, then mix together well with a wire whisk. Remove wings from the fryer, add mixing bowl of sauce and toss well to coat evenly. Serve hot.

*can adjust the heat by adding Cayenne pepper to the mix.


Honey Gold Wings

Ingredients:

12 jumbo cut wings
1 ½ oz. Sauer’s Honey Sauce
1 ½ oz. Cattleman’s Gold BBQ Sauce
½ tsp. ground Cayenne Pepper

Place wings in a 340-350 degree fryer and deep fry until well browned and crispy with a minimum internal temp. of 160 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine honey sauce, Cattleman’s Gold BBQ sauce and ground Cayenne Pepper, then mix together well with a wire whisk. Remove wings from the fryer, add mixing bowl of sauce and toss well to coat evenly. Serve hot.



Espresso Cayenne Pepper Wings
Ingredients:
12 jumbo cut wings
1 oz. clarified butter, butter oil or vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. espresso spice rub mix (*see recipe below)
1 Tbsp. soy sauce

*make Espresso Rub in large quantities in advance and use as an ingredient for wing preparation using 3 Tbsp. per order

*Espresso Rub Spice Mix
(use for Espresso Wings or as a dry rub for Espresso Steaks)
2 Tbsp. ground espresso (instant powder can also be used)
½ Tbsp. ground cayenne pepper
½ Tbsp. ground mustard powder
½ Tbsp. ground black pepper
½ Tbsp. ground ginger
¼ Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
½ Tbsp. ground paprika

Place wings in a 340-350 degree fryer and deep fry until well browned and crispy with a minimum internal temp. of 160 degrees. In a mixing bowl, add butter/oil, espresso rub mix and soy sauce, then mix together well with a wire whisk. Remove wings from the fryer, add mixing bowl of sauce and toss well to coat evenly. Serve hot.
