Apple Strudel Dessert
Directions
- Drain the apples really well.
- Combine the apples with 1 lb. of crumbs, the raisins, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Let this rest for awhile; if it looks too wet add more crumbs.
- Roll the apple mixture in the puff pastry and seal the edges. Slit the dough in several places on top so steam can escape.
- Bake in a 400 F oven until golden brown. Slice and serve with powdered sugar. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
