Great Northern Roma® Meatball Haute Dish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil. Add allspice, nutmeg, white pepper, chopped onion and all-purpose flour and cook until flour has browned.
- Add heavy cream and beef broth and cook until sauce has been created. Add peas, carrots and two tablespoons of parsley.
- Place meatballs in a casserole dish (9”x13”) and cover with the sauce from the pan.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese evenly on top. Top with the tater tots and sprinkle with the remaining cup of cheese.
- Bake until golden brown, about 35-40 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.

- Kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp allspice, ground
- 1/2 tsp Magellan® Nutmeg, freshly grated
- 1/4 tsp Roma® White Pepper, Ground
- 1 1/2 cup Nature's Best Dairy® Cream, Heavy
- 1 cup West Creek beef broth
- 2 cups frozen peas and carrots
- 3 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce Parsley, chopped
- 2 cups cheese, cheddar, sharp, shredded
- 2 lbs West Creek® tater tots
