Directions
Heat oil in sauté pan over medium heat, add garlic, and cook for 1 minute. Remove from pan and cool.
Cut butter into large slices about ½-inch thick. Add butter, garlic, salt, and pepper to a mixer with a paddle attachment. Run on low heat for 20-30 seconds then medium heat for 10-15 seconds.
Fold in basil and then remove mixture onto parchment paper. Roll into a long tube about as thick as a sliver dollar.
Place tube on plastic wrap and roll tight twisting ends. Refrigerate until service or freeze until needed. Cut into disks for service.
