Bay Winds® Shrimp and Grits

Directions

  1. In a saucepan over high heat add water, four tablespoons of butter to pan and bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in grits, salt, pepper, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until grits are tender then remove from heat and stir in cheese.
  3. Heat olive oil over medium high heat in sauté pan and add shrimp.
  4. Cook for 1-2 minutes then top with Cajun seasoning.
  5. Pour in beer and reduce by half. Whisk in butter then serve over cheese grits and enjoy.

  • 2 cups West Creek® grits
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tbsp Nature's Best Dairy® Butter, Unsalted
  • 1 cup Roma® cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/8 tsp Magellan® sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp Magellan® Black Pepper, ground
  • 1 lb Bay Winds® Shrimp, White 16-20 Count, peeled and deveined
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Roma® Oil, Olive
  • 1/4 cup Magellan® Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cups beer, amber
  • 2 tbsp Nature's Best Dairy® Butter, Unsalted
  • 1/8 tsp Magellan® sea salt
