BBQ Chicken Cheesesteak


  1. Preheat to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place frozen chicken on grill. After the portion has cooked through about half its thickness, flip the portion once. As the meat slices begin to cook, separate them with a spatula and add any desired seasonings.
  3. Chicken should have a consistent white color with absolutely no pink remaining.
  4. Simultaneously cook the onions and bell peppers in the butter/oil.
  5. In the last 30 seconds of cooking sprinkle seasoning on the chicken and toss to combine.
  6. Combine the onions and peppers. Add the BBQ sauce and cheese, toss to combine. If desired heat the hoagie rolls.
  7. Place ¼ of the chicken mixture into each of the hoagie rolls. Top with optional items if desired.


  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. BBQ seasoning
  • 1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic, powder
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, powder
  • 4 Heritage Ovens® Bun(s), Hoagie
  • 1 Tbsp. Nature's Best Dairy® Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Peak Fresh Produce® Pepper(s), Green Bell, sliced
  • 4 Roma® Traditional Chicken Flat Steak(s)
  • 2 cups West Creek® Cheese Shredded, Cheddar
