Brat with Bourbon Onions and Grain Mustard
Directions
- Cook bratwurst on medium heat area of the grill until lightly charred.
- In a saucepan over medium heat add butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and onions. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in bourbon and be cautious of a flame. Let bourbon simmer and recue by half. Fold in honey then reserve.
- Place a portion of onions on warm buns then top with charred brat and finish with spicy brown mustard.

- 4 ea West Creek® bratwurst
- 4 ea Heritage Ovens® hot dog bun
- 2 ea Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), Yellow, large dice
- 1/4 cup West Creek® Spicy Brown Mustard
- 2 tbsp West Creek® Honey
- 1 cup bourbon
- 2 tbsp Nature's Best Dairy® Butter, Unsalted
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp Roma® Black Pepper, Ground
