Carne Asada Torta

Directions

  1. Spread the toasted bottom of the torta roll with refried beans.
  2. Top with steak and tequila jalapeno gravy.
  3. Garnish with Cojita cheese and diced poblano peppers.

Ingredients

  • 1 ea. Torta roll, split and toasted
  • 3 tbsp Refried beans, spread
  • 1/2 cup steak, marinated, grilled
  • 1/4 cup Tequila Jalapeno Gravy, (see recipe below)
  • 2 tbsp cheese, cotija, grated
  • 2 tbsp pepper(s), poblano, roasted, diced

Tequila Jalapeno Gravy

Directions

  1. Prepare Chef’s Own® Brown Gravy Mix according to package directions.
  2. Whisk in Gold Label Jalapeno Relish and Tequila until well blended.

  • 2 tbsp tequila
