Clams with Spicy Italian Sausage
Directions
- In a sauté pan or skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat, add sausage, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add onion, garlic, peppers, and cook, stirring occasionally, for another 5-6 minutes.
- Deglaze the pan with white wine, scraping the fond from the bottom of the pan. Add in clams and cover, cook for 4-6 minutes.
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Garnish with fresh basil and parsley.
Serve over pasta or with crusty bread as an appetizer.

- 1 lb. World Dock® Clams, hard shell
- 2 tbsp. oil, olive
- 1 lb. sausage, Italian , spicy, ground
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 4 garlic, clove(s), minced
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper , diced
- 1 Yellow Bell Pepper, diced
- 1 cup white wine
- salt and pepper, to taste
- basil, fresh, chiffonade, for garnish
- parsley, fresh, chopped, for garnish
