Green Origin Breakfast Link with Sweet Waffle


  1. Bring the cider to a simmer. Add the fruit and poach for 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. Stir the sugar into the cider, bring to a boil. Reduce the cider to a syrup consistency.
  3. Heat the oil on a griddle or fry pan and griddle the sausage until hot. Warm the waffles in an oven briefly.
  4. Plate the waffles and pour the syrup over top. Spoon fruit onto the plate and add the breakfast links.
  5. Mash one cooked and peeled sweet potato with one tablespoon of brown sugar. Garnish with mashed sweet potato.

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • for garnish Mashed Sweet Potato and Brown Sugar
