Mushrooms with Bacon Sour Cream

Whole button mushrooms dipped in batter and fried for a brown, crunchy exterior are an appetizer addiction, especially when married with bacon + sour cream. Great on their own, or easily paired with a few other fried items for variety in a platter, fried mushrooms are a great change of pace to the traditional bar food menu.
Mushrooms with Bacon Sour Cream
Directions
- Prepare McCain Golden Crisp® Battered Button Mushrooms according to package directions and arrange on an appetizer plate with kale and sliced cherry tomatoes.
- Mix together sour cream and bacon to make the Bacon Sour Cream and serve on the side of the dish in a ramekin.

- 2 leaves kale, leaves
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 tomato(es), cherry
- 3 tbl West Creek® Bacon, (cooked, diced)
