Seared Braveheart® NY Strip Steak with a Molasses, Chipotle Cinnamon Glaze

Directions

  1. Combine the molasses, chipotle pepper and cinnamon in a blender. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the oil. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear the steak on both sides and put in a 400 F oven.
  4. Remove when almost at desired temperature and brush molasses mixture generously on the steak. Return to finish in oven.
  5. Garnish with green onions

  • 2 cups West Creek® Molasses
  • 3 1/2 oz Chipotle in Adobe Sauce
  • 2 tsp Magellan® Cinnamon
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 ea Braveheart® Black Angus Beef Steak(s), Strip
  • 1 tbsp Roma® Oil, Olive
  • 1 tsp Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), Green, sliced
