Seared Braveheart® NY Strip Steak with a Molasses, Chipotle Cinnamon Glaze
Directions
- Combine the molasses, chipotle pepper and cinnamon in a blender. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat the oil. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Sear the steak on both sides and put in a 400 F oven.
- Remove when almost at desired temperature and brush molasses mixture generously on the steak. Return to finish in oven.
- Garnish with green onions

- 2 cups West Creek® Molasses
- 3 1/2 oz Chipotle in Adobe Sauce
- 2 tsp Magellan® Cinnamon
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 ea Braveheart® Black Angus Beef Steak(s), Strip
- 1 tbsp Roma® Oil, Olive
- 1 tsp Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), Green, sliced
