Sweet Onion Slaw

Directions

  1. In a sauté pan add olive oil, red onion, white onion, yellow onion, shallot, salt and pepper.
  2. Cook for 2-3 minutes until onions are caramelized.
  3. Pour in sherry and allow to reduce by 2/3 rds.
  4. Remove from heat toss in green onions and allow to cool down under refrigeration.

  • 2 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), Green, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Piancone® Oil, Olive
  • 1 Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), Red, julienne
  • 1/8 tsp Delectables sea salt
  • 1 Peak Fresh Produce® Shallot(s), julienne
  • 1/2 cup sherry
  • 1 Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), White, julienne
  • 1 Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), Yellow, julienne
