Zesty Tomato Soup with Pesto Chicken
Directions
- Heat pasta sauce on stove in thick soup pot to simmer. While that’s heating up, toss the chicken and pesto together to coat the chicken.
- As pasta sauce gets to simmer, add in heavy cream and bring back to simmer. Fold in pesto chicken and let simmer for 10 minutes to heat chicken.
- Serve in crock or bowl and garnish with fresh basil and parmesan cheese.

- 1 can Roma® pasta sauce
- 4 cups Farm Smart® cooked diced chicken
- 3 tbsp Roma® pesto sauce
- 4 cups Nature's Best Dairy® Cream, Heavy Whipping
- 1/2 tsp Magellan® Black Pepper, ground
- pinch Roma® Cheese, Parmesan, shredded
- 10 pc basil, leaves, fresh, for garnish
- 1 tbsp Roma Garlic, chopped
