Chipotle Cane Sauce

Directions

  1. In a sauce pan over medium high heat add oil, poblano peppers, onion, salt, pepper and red chili flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add pineapple juice and chipotle puree then reduce by half.
  4. Add simple syrup and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Puree and serve over salad.

  • 2 tbsp Brilliance® Premium Oils Vegetable Oil
  • 3 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 can chipotle puree
  • 1 tsp McCormick Culinary® Black Pepper, Ground
  • 2 Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), sliced
  • 4 pepper(s), poblano, sliced
  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp red pepper, flakes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups simple syrup
