Sesame Ahi Tuna with Marinated Slaw
Directions
- Cut Tuna into long square shaped tube.
- Coat Tuna with Sesame oil and roll in sesame seeds with sea salt added.
- Pan sear in very hot skillet on each side and set to side to cool.
- Julienne and colorful vegetables and marinate them in vinegar and soy sauce for 2 minutes.
- Slice Tuna into 1/8-inch-thick slices and display on tray.
- Remove slaw from marinate and place on tray.
- Drizzle marinated over slaw for sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ahi Tuna, fresh
- 1.5 cups colorful julienne vegetables
- 1 oz rice wine vinegar
- salt, sea, to taste
- 1 tbsp oil, sesame
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds, mixed black and white seeds
- 1 oz soy sauce
