Shallot and Basil Compound Butter
Directions
- In a chilled stainless-steel bowl gently fold together the above ingredients.
- Scrape the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper and roll into a cylinder.
- Wrap this in plastic wrap and chill for 2-3 hours until service.
- Cut into disks for service.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Nature's Best Dairy® Butter, Unsalted, room temperature, cubed
- 3 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Basil, minced
- 1/2 cup Peak Fresh Produce® Shallot(s), caramelized, small dice
- 1/2 tsp Magellan® sea salt
- 1/2 tsp Roma® Black Pepper, Ground
