Asian Vegetarian Spring Rolls
Directions
- In a saucepan, bring 1¼ cup water, Custom Culinary® Gold Label Savory Roasted® Vegetable Base, Custom Culinary® Gold Label Mirepoix Base and Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® Roasted Garlic Flavor Concentrate to a boil.
- Add rice to boiling stock. Cook rice following label instructions.
- Fold together cooked rice with lentils, ginger, red pepper and spinach.
- Make an egg wash by whisking eggs and 3 tablespoons water together. Place wonton skin on working surface with one corner facing up; brush egg wash on the corner. Place 1½ ounces rice mixture in the center. Fold left side into center, then fold right side into center and roll up.
- Place desired number of rolls into a 350°F deep fryer and cook for 3 minutes.

- 3 cup lentils, cooked, drained
- 1 tsp Custom Culinary® Gold Label Mirepoix Base
- 1/2 cup Red pepper, small dice
- 1 qt spinach, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Custom Culinary® Gold Label Savory Roasted® Vegetable Base
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 3 tbsp water
- 24 wonton wrappers
