Zebec® French Fry Beef & Lamb Gyro

Directions

  1. Heat seasoned flattop and deep fryer to 350F.
  2. Cut produce according to ingredient list.
  3. Place flatbread on flattop for about 1 minute on each side, then remove from heat.
  4. Place gyro meat on flattop and cook for about 3-5 minutes until the edges of the slices start to crisp up.
  5. While the gyro meat is cooking place the French fries in the deep fryer for 3 minutes. Then toss with salt and pepper and set aside.
  6. Place the lamb and beef gyro meat on the warmed flatbread and top with shredded lettuce, Roma tomatoes, julienne red onion, sliced cucumber, French fries, tzatziki, and garnish with fresh dill sprigs. Fold or roll flatbread and serve.

  • 24 oz. Zebec® beef & lamb gyro meat
  • 3 cups Peak Fresh Produce® Lettuce, Shredded
  • 20 ea. Peak Fresh Produce® Tomato(es), Roma , (or cherry) sliced
  • 1 1/3 cup Peak Fresh Produce® Cucumber(s), sliced thin
  • 1 cup Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), Red, julienne
  • 12 oz. West Creek® French Fries, 3/8 clear coat
  • Brilliance® oil, for deep frying
  • 12 oz. Zebec® tzatziki
  • 4 ea. Peak Fresh Produce® Dill Sprigs, fresh
