Lamb Kofta Wrap

Directions

  1. Combine cucumber, red onion, tomatoes, parsley, lemon juice, and chili powder in a bowl until well-dressed. Cover and refrigerate until service.
  2. For service, set grill to medium high. For each serving, grill 3 kofta until well marked on both sides and an internal temperature of 155°F is reached.
  3. Warm one half pita pocket on grill.
  4. Spread 1/4 cup of sauce inside of the warmed pocket half. Place 3 grilled koftas inside each wrap and top with 1/3 cup of vegetables. Serve warm with a side of fries.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cucumber, julienne
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp McCormick Culinary® Chili Powder
  • 2 ea bread, pita, halved

Kofta

Directions

  1. Mix lamb, Moroccan Seasoning, mint, red onion, and garlic until well combined.
  2. Chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld together.
  3. Form lamb mixture into twelve 2-ounce oval shaped patties.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground lamb
  • 2 tbsp McCormick Culinary® Moroccan Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp mint, fresh, chopped
  • 1/3 cup red onion, grated

Tahini Yogurt Sauce

Directions

  1. Combine yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, mint, garlic, Moroccan Seasoning, and salt in a bowl. Whisk until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until service.

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp mint, fresh, chopped
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp McCormick Culinary® Moroccan Seasoning
