Reuben Wontons

Directions

  1. Preheat oil in deep fryer to 350F.
  2. Lay wonton wrapper sideways with one corner pointing towards you.
  3. About 1/4 of the way up the wonton, layer a small portion of shredded corned beef, followed by shredded Swiss cheese and then shredded cabbage. Do not overfill. Roll the wonton carefully, tucking in sides midway through the roll. Seal edges with egg wash.
  4. Frying one filled wonton at a time - submerged in preheated oil for 4-5 minutes, turning once during cook time.
  5. Remove from oil and transfer to wire rack to drip off excess oil. Cut into wonton to make sure it is fully cooked all the way through. If not, adjust your cook time slightly.
  6. Fry remaining batch of wontons and plate and serve with Thousand Island sauce.

  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 bag angel hair cabbage, shredded
  • 2 cups cheese, Swiss, shredded
  • West Creek® Corned Beef Brisket, shredded
  • dressing, thousand island, for dipping
  • oil, for frying

Corned Beef Brisket

Directions

  1. Follow heating instructions on brisket product label.
  2. After product is fully cooked (verified by meat thermometer), place brisket on a cutting board or large plate and allow to rest until mostly cool.
  3. Shred the brisket with a fork, and then use a knife to cut the shredded meat into smaller portions for the wontons.
