Roasted Apple Caramelized Bacon Flatbread

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Combine the bacon and brown sugar in a small bowl.
  3. Place the cranberries in a small saucepan and cover with water, simmer over low heat until the cranberries plump. Drain cranberries.
  4. For each flatbread; place crust on pizza screen or parchment lined pan, evenly spread with 6 oz. of the filling, 3 oz. of bacon, 10 oz. apples and 3 oz. of streusel. Sprinkle with 1 oz. of cranberries and almonds.
  5. Bake the pizza for 5 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Drizzle finished pizza with 1/2 fl. oz. of caramel sauce.

  • 6 oz almonds, sliced
  • 60 oz Simplot RoastWorks®: Flame-Roasted Fuji Apples 6/2.5lb
  • 14 oz bacon, cooked, crumbled
  • 3 fl oz caramel sauce
  • 3 oz cranberries, dried
  • 36 oz Cream cheese pastry filling, prepared
  • 6 Thin Neapolitan pizza crusts
  • 18 oz Streusel topping, (see instructions below)
  • 4 oz sugar, brown

  1. Blend all ingredients with a paddle in a mixer until crumbly.
