Spicy Chili Onion Crisp Pasta

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a heavy bottomed pot.
  2. Add the shallots and cook until translucent.
  3. Add garlic, thyme, and oregano. Cook stirring for a minute.
  4. Add the Spicy Chili Onion Crisp and cook for another minute. Add the whole peeled tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  6. Using an immersion blender, blend the tomatoes until smooth. Return to heat and stir in the cream and cook for another 10 minutes.
  7. Toss in the pasta and serve with freshly grated parmesan and a drizzle of the Spicy Chili Onion Crisp.

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Roland Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp. thyme, fresh
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano, fresh, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Roland Spicy Chili Onion Crisp
  • 28 oz. tomato(es), whole peeled, canned
  • 1 cup cream, heavy
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 16 oz. Rigatoni, cooked al dente
  • cheese, Parmesan , for serving
