Sweet and Bold BBQ Pulled Pork Flatbread

Directions

  1. Set oven to 400°F. For each serving, spread 1 flatbread with 3/4 cup of BBQ sauce leaving a 1/2" boarder around the edge. Top with 6 ounces pork.
  2. Cover with 1 cup cheddar cheese and 3/4 cup onions.
  3. Bake until cheese is melted and flatbread is crisp. Cut as desired and garnish with 2 tablespoons pickles and 1/2 cup slaw. Serve hot.

Ingredients

  • 5 bread, flatbread, 9 in by 5 in
  • 3 cups Cattlemen’s® Sweet & Bold BBQ Sauce
  • 2 qts Cheddar jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 lb BBQ pulled pork, (see recipe below)
  • 3 cups onion(s), red, julienne, 1/4 in
  • 1/2 cup pickles dill, chopped
  • 2 cups BBQ slaw, (see recipe below)

BBQ Slaw

Directions

  1.  In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and BBQ sauce.
  2. Add cabbage, carrots and toss until evenly coated.
  3. Hold refrigerated for service.

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Cattlemen’s® Sweet & Bold BBQ Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Carrots, shredded

BBQ Pulled Pork

Directions

  1.  In a bowl, combine pulled pork, BBQ sauce, apple juice, apple cider vinegar and Frank's RedHot®.
  2. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  3. Hold refrigerated for service.

  • 1 1/4 lbs pork shoulder, smoked or braised, pulled
  • 1 cup Cattlemen’s® Sweet & Bold BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple juice
  • 2 tbsp vinegar, apple cider
  • 1 tbsp Frank’s® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
