Italian Melt
Directions
- Place a medium cast-iron skillet or similar over medium-low heat and preheat the pan for 2 minutes while you assemble the sandwich.
- Butter each slice of bread on one side and lay the bread on cutting board, butter side down. Place two slices of mozzarella on each piece of bread, and add the Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, pickled peppers. Top with the remaining bread slice.
- Carefully transfer the sandwiches to the preheated pan and cook until bread is golden brown, and cheese has melted, around 3 minutes per side. Serve warm.

- 1/2 cup BURKE® Bias-Sliced Italian Sausage Links, Mild
- 1/2 cup BURKE® Sliced Pepperoni, Pork & Beef
- Italian salami, slices to layer
- 1 to 2 loaves bread, Italian
- 4 to 5 slices cheese, mozzarella, whole milk
- 1/4 cup Italian pickled peppers
