Pork & Waffles

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F, and bake boneless wings for 12 to 15 minutes.
  2. Bake bacon for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove bacon from oven, and allow to cool. Rough-chop bacon, and set aside.
  3. Place waffle in middle of plate, and fold waffle like a taco. Add Southern Coleslaw, wings tossed in local maple syrup.
  4. Add drizzle of ranch dressing, and top with crumbled applewood smoked bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Smoke'NFast® Boneless KC Wild Wings
  • 8 slices Smithfield® Applewood Smoked Bacon
  • 12 oz. Southern Coleslaw, (see recipe below)
  • 8 oz. ranch dressing
  • 4 waffle(s), sweet
  • 4 oz. maple syrup , local

Southern Coleslaw

Directions

  1. Combine all dressing ingredients in medium mixing bowl, and whisk until fully incorporated.
  2. Fold in shredded cabbage and carrots.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before using.

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup mustard, creole
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar, apple cider
  • 2 tbsp. sugar, raw
  • 2 tbsp. honey, local
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco® Sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 lb. cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Carrots, shredded
