Salted Caramel Mocha
Directions
- In a medium saucepan on medium-high heat, add the Almond Barista Blend milk, cocoa powder, espresso, and whisking everything together and bring it to a boil for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in vanilla and agave.
- Remove the mixture from heat once all ingredients are incorporated and smooth.
- To serve, pour mocha latte into the prepared mug(s) and top with dairy-free whip, salted caramel and garnish with shaved chocolate, optional. Sip and enjoy!

- 2 cups Califia Farms® Almond Barista Blend
- 3 tbsp. cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1 tsp. Dissolvable espresso powder
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tbsp. agave syrup, or maple
- whipped topping, non-dairy, for garnish
- Vegan Salted Caramel Sauce, to drizzle (see recipe below)
- chocolate, shavings, for garnish
Vegan Salted Caramel
Directions
- Vegan Salted Caramel: In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, add sugar and cook (while stirring) until it begins to golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
- Turn off heat and add in vegan butter, whisking until it fully melts and incorporates with sugar.
- Continuing to whisk constantly, slowly add in coconut milk and the sauce should thicken slightly. Let sit for 5 minutes or so to cool.
- Pour sauce into a heat-safe mason jar or container and refrigerate when ready to store.
NOTE: As the sauce fully cools, it will begin to thicken more and more. Stir before using.
