Turkey Loco Moco

Directions

  1. In a pot over medium heat, add Low Sodium Beef Base and rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir in peas and carrots. Cover and simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and keep warm.
  2. In a bowl, combine, ground turkey, onions, pepper and Roasted Garlic Flavor Concentrate until well blended. Form into ten 4 oz. patties.
  3. In a preheated skillet with oil, fry patties until each side is browned, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  4. To plate, place 1/2 cup rice in center of plate. Top with a cooked turkey burger, 2 oz. Brown Gravy and one poached egg. Serve immediately.
  5. Serve with Broccoli Pineapple Slaw.

  • 2 tsp. oil, canola

  • 24 oz. Trio® Low Sodium Brown Gravy
